CNN, RNN OR TRANSFORMER

Hi There.

Thank you for the course it was interesting.

Aren't CNN & RNN are outdated and replaced by the next generation algorithms called TRANSFORMERS "Attention is all you need". Do they still used at all or are they (CNN & RNN) recommended over transformer for certain cases.?
