How is mean is greater then median in positive skewness diagram?

https://www.statisticshowto.datasciencecentral.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/pearson-mode-skewness.jpg median seems to be greater then mean. is it the area mean line covers or what? Thanks

Hi Malik, Thanks for reaching out! Please note that on these graphs: vertical axis (y-axis): shows the frequency of occurrence  the horizontal axis (x-axis): shows the value at which we find the mean, median, and/or mode.  With that in mind, you should compare the mean, median and mode on the x-axis. So, in the positive skewness graph, the mode is the lowest value and the mean is the highest value. Best, The 365 Team
