HOW THR PROBABILITY IS FIND FOR THESE VALUES
https://learn.365datascience.com/courses/probability/probability-frequency-distribution IN ABOVE LINK THE VIDEO OF FREQUENCY DISTRIBUTION IS LINKED
IN 3:36 THEY HAVE CALCULATED THE PROBABILITY FOR GIVEN NUMBERS HOW DID THEY FOUND CAN ANY ONE EXPLAIN ME.
Hi,
The probability is found by dividing each number's frequency by the sum of all frequencies. For example, the probability of getting a 2 when rolling two six-sided dice is 1/36 because there is only one way of getting two (both dice end up coming as 1) and there are 36 total ways of getting all the possible outcomes. The probability of getting a 5 is 4/36 because there are 4 different ways of getting 5 (1&4, 2&3, 3&2, 4&1) and there are 36 total ways of getting all the possible outcomes. This is what they mean in 3:40 by "dividing each frequency by the size of the sample space".
Hope this helps!
