How to save work done in Tableau

Do we always have o save to public community? I tried t save my work yesterday but It prompted me to put my email and all. is that the case with Tableau?   Thanks for this resource!!!

Hi! Unfortunately, yes, if you use Tableau Public. After all, this is the catch why Tableau wants you to purchase Tableau Desktop where you can save on your computer. Best, Ned
