It is a bit tough to follow for inexperienced BI users...

I was wondering as you dove into DAX without first explaining a little bit about the syntax or about the whys of what we are doing. this was confusing to follow. I hope you are able to amend this lecture to explain more about why you are doing what you are doing and introducing the syntax a little bit first.
