Usage of COUNTROWS

in Power BI / ALL
Is it true that usage of COUNTROWS in order to get number of sold items is only allowed in this case because OrderQuantity column is always equal 1 in this sample data? If a customer would buy more identical items within one transaction, than it would not work to use this function?
