Why spam filtering is not an instance of machine learning?
Good morning. I refer to the last question of the 4 questions in the introduction chapter. Based on what you say around minute 4:00, it seems that spam filtering is also based on machine learning. So why that is the answer to the last question of the quiz? Is it just because the answer is "Spam emails" and not "Filtering of spam emails"? Thank you

Yes I have the same question and I think that it was a mistake by the website

I think it may be because it only says "SPAM emails" and not "SPAM email FILTER" - as filtering them is a ML task, but writing a spam email may not.
This is just my hypothesis though.
