4.Range - numeric

/demonstrates the error in select/ "This range in s numrange, means that the values are stored as numeric value, not an integer value.." thus not working. "So, what I can do is go ahead and  cast this as NUMERIC". How is that possible? They are ALREADY numeric. And not working. Then casting as numeric (i.e. the same) and it's working. Womething is wrong here.
