Condicional measures vs adding a filter

Hi,

I was wondering if in the video in question it is extremely necessary to create the conditional measure, or instead a filter could be used to determine which currency the user will like to see the measure (total sales) displayed.

Hi Marta, Conditional measures are quite common in Power BI. The idea is that you can have a dashboard that shows sales from various currencies. You want to know what the sales in the top currency is (in our case usd) and then have the option to see the rest of the currencies based on a filter. If no selection is made, the visual should be able to communicate that to the user.
