Create a Database in introduction to Excel

when me remove the duplicates from the codes, are we not going to lose some data since the codes are from different years

Hi! We are not going to lose data, as unique entires remain in place. And in this way we are collecting all possible codes - none of them is lost, it is just that we have unique entries. Best, Ned

Since the original data stays in the 3 sheets (for each year), we don't lose it. The database just creates entries for each unique code and when we complete the table, each unique code searches its references in the 3 year-sheets. This way the table gives values (in the year columns) to each unique code for each of the year sheets it was present in.
