Difference in Excel functions?
What is the difference between:
For example: $d$3 and d3 in any function?

$ - sign locks that row and column so that when you drag the formula in excel it doesn't get change.
For example if you drag the formula from top to bottom and doesn't put $ sign D3 gets changed to D4 and if left to right D3 will change to E3.
