Differing Period format
Hi, when I connect the excel file to tableau, my period takes on the format of 201.601 as opposed to 2016.01. Would really appreciate if someone would be able to help fix this.

Hi Osama,
Please go ahead and make sure that Excel reads your dates correctly. You need to make the change inside the Excel file. Let me know if this helps.

I experienced the same problem.
On the Period column, click the # icon. Set the data type to String. I hope this was helpful.
