"duedate" type become string
I don't understand why when we made the join the type of duedate became string while the type of the foreign key Date of the table dimdate stayed integer. in addition, if we go in the transform field we find that the type of duedate is still date/time.

This is a Power BI behavior, basically it is converting the foreign key to a different data type, I believe this is to do with the fact that Power BI does not like to make relationships based on dates so it is changing the data type and in the background is recognizing the column as string.
