Finding the Minimum
Good day. Would it be incorrect to equate the first derivative to zero and solve for x to find the minimum value?
Eg f'(x) = 10x + 3
We say f'(x) = 0, therefore 10x +3 = 0
x = -3/10 or -0.30.
This is based on the example presented.
