How do we obtain the equation of regression line?

We get the equation using software. This is the first lecture where we see a regression, so we are still clarifying the meaning.
You can obtain the regression line in Excel, by clicking:
Data -> Data Analysis -> Regression
After you click: OK, you select the output variable (y) and the input variables (x) from:
Now, this is the first lecture where we perform a regression. When you create the regression, you usually get a table (as shown in Lecture 51). In order to interpret it and get the regression equation you must be able to read such a table. That's also the topic of Lecture 51.
