Hi. In Windows, a somewhat easy solution is to type the windows key and the period button simultaneously. A window will appear. Choose the third tab (symbols), and then choose the general punctuation tab (with a < sign). You will find this key "<". Then, type a dash "-" and you should be good to go.
I have no idea how to do this on a Mac. Sorry.
