Introduction to Excel is NOT BEGINNER FRIENDLY

I thought this course was "beginner friendly." I've already been using excel for years with simple formulae and macros, but these exercises are quite difficult to follow, some steps are not even mentioned that in a blink of an eye, the model worksheet looks totally different from the one I'm working with. And since I'm on the Data Analyst career path, I'm not quite getting the connection why are we working on financial worksheets, not to mention they are already at least 5 years old and needs updating. When will the course be updated for it to be actually aligned to the Data Analyst path?

Hi Harold,

I'll be happy to work with you on any issues you experience with the course personally. Please feel free to email me at nedko@365datascience.com. Feel free to write to me directly when there's an issue that you struggle with.

It is true - the course uses financial examples because it was created for a financial audience - but i can assure you - it teaches the necessary skills you need to become a data analyst and in general to be able to analyze tabular data.

At the moment, there are not significant changes in Excel that require the course to be updated.

Best,

Ned
