Introduction to Microsoft Excel | Microsoft Excel - Practical Exercise "Build a P&L From Scratch" | Use Sumif to Complete the Database Sheet

Dear team, Thank you for great experience that I am having with your training program! :) The question is related to the resulting database that we obtain after SUMIF function is realized. It is suggested from the tutorial video that to check the correctness of the implementation, we can compare the net income for each year (adding filter -> changing the sign of SUMIF to "-"..) to the rest of data by checking the respective column sum, which should give us a "0". For FY16 and FY17 I've got "0" as a sum, while for FY2018 the sum is different. I noticed that in the tutorial video the sum is the same number I've got, also not zero. Would appreciate if you could clarify whether it is a mistake? If so, could you suggest which step of the calculation resulted in it and how to fix? Thank you!   BR, Kateryna

Hi Kateryna! Thanks so much for being so kind. Apologies for the late reply. Hopefully, with the new platform we will be able to improve our customer service experience. The number that you see is something like 0.000000000001487 or similar. This is due to an Excel bug. Please don't worry you've worked correctly! Keep up the good work.
All the best,
Ned
