Right now I am currently working through the excel portion of the courses. In coming along I watched the mapping video where it encourages you to try to make your own mapping macro for different categories for a P&L Statement. I am having difficulty thinking of how that would be written. I was hoping for a step by step process that could explain that portion.
I appreciate any answers that will help me learn how to fix this problem!

There isn’t a macro we can build to facilitate this the first time we are carrying out the mapping exercise.
Once we have done it, we can use VLOOKUP or INDEX&MATCH to transfer entries for items that have been assigned already.
