Misunderstanding

As I started taking a data engineering course website, I felt that I didn't understand a bunch of terms and I didn't know most of the tools the trainer mentioned in lessons, it seems to me theoretical information but it doesn't, I think trainer tries to explain something related to practical aspects, in this case, what should I do, did my thinking common or I have to learn something which is prerequired it for this course.....

Hi Abdulrahman,
I would sincerely recommend you to take the SQL first because it will teach you foundational database theory and then you will have an easier time understanding the Intro to Data Engineering course.
Best,
Ned

Thanks for your reply. I think I'm not eligible to apply for these topics since I'm not currently employed at a company and don't have access to a complete system. However, would it be beneficial for me to learn this knowledge in preparation for future work opportunities?
