If I wanted to subtract my UnitPriceDiscountPct from my UnitPrice to create a GrossSales Column can someone write the measure expression I would use?
Nevermind I added a column in the data field. But is that what you are supposed to do? Or should you create a measure without creating an excel like field in the data. I think there are pros and cons, but I cannot organize this is my mind yet. If anyone has any clarity, I would appreciate it.
I would suggest using a Measure instead of generating an additional column to do this aggregation for you. Remember, measures take less resources to process, they are only executed once they are called which improves the overall dashboard performance.
