Hi team, does your location matter though when applying and how does it affect your chances of landing a job?

Hi Acheampong! Thanks for reaching out. To answer generally, I would say that location matters, because there are certain situations in which you will be required to be in an office and work in a team whose members are all physically in the same space. However, the tendency is leaning more and more towards working from distance, so, personally, I am optimistic that as time goes by, there will be more and more opportunities for working from distance and your location will matter less and less.  Hope this helps (and this turns out to be true, since it doesn't exclude the beautiful opportunity of working with people in an office, at least from time to time!).
Best,
Martin
