Query regarding Streak count

I have a query and a complaint to make.
First off the complaint:
I was studying everyday and yet last day study hrs have not been counted for my portal it seems as i studied atleast 60 mins but my streak shows broken. Kindly resolve this. 

The query is related: How do you guys count a streak and what our the cut-off timings in a day. For example i am currently under EST zone but the streak count is not happening according to my day hours here. You guyz should mention somewhere the time zone with respect to which you calculate the 24 hours on your website. This would help people in a different zone like us to match our clocks and make sure our study targets get completed without the working dy of website. I hope you got what I mean by this.
So kindly let me know about the time-zone to consider when calculating study targets.
