SQL UPDATE Statement
At the end of the TCL lesson, the instructor said that the ROLLBACK clause allows to make a step back and the last change or changes you made will not count. It reverts to the last non-committed state. Does it mean that this clause does not have any impact on the data after applying the COMMIT statement?

Hi Marie!
Thanks for reaching out.
Oh, it does have an impact on the data and that's why we must be very careful when handling COMMIT; and ROLLBACK clauses!
For the purposes of taking this course smoothly, we've steered clear from using these commands too often, however you must be prepared on how they work when you move to a professional environment.
Hope this helps.
Best,
Martin
