Resolved: Tableau exam1 q.3 regarding gross profit formula
In Q. 3 Provided that the following equation is true: Gross Profit = Revenue – Cogs.
Then how come in answer we use + sign? isn't it has to be sum(revenue) - sum(cogs) rather than correct answer calculates based on sum(revenue) + sum(cogs). Please explain this it is confusing.

The reason we use a + sign is that Cogs are already negative.
