Tableau : Not able to get the intuition behind concept of Data Blending

  1. In the Audiobook data source demonstrated, as mentioned ,data blending was used because date of purchase from sales table was not able to somehow match up with review date from reviews table. Because of which Month of December had value as 0 for reviews. If thats the case hw come all other months did not encounter an issue and why only december got this issue?
2. If joins do the aggregation at database level and blend first takes separate query results and then aggregates them in tableau itself...what difference does it make..I'm not able to get the intuition behind this and how this solves the date of purchase and date of review?

Hello! You can see that there are 2 sections with year/month/ in the dropdown menu for the date of purchase. You need the second month, otherwise, you aggregate by month, not month+year.
