Test for the mean. Independent samples (Part1)

Hi guys! At the end of the lecture, how do we know that true value will be lower than hypothesized value? Because Z-score is negative, we conclude the true value is lower, am I right? Thank you!

Hi Marko, Correct! hen the z-score is negative, the true value is likely to be lower than the hypothesized one. hen the z-score is positive, the true value is likely to be higher than the hypothesized one. Best,
