Lack of explanation what happened at the end. Putting static numbers into the plot in yhat. This is not very cool.

I agree that the definition of yhat at the end of the lecture is not implemented with the intention to work in a general regression case and that surely isn't considered best practice. Nevertheless, from a teaching perspective, that is the easiest way for a learner at a beginner level to understand the concept of linear regression and the way it works. This is not a course on code optimization but rather a course devoted to understanding the basics of machine learning and its various different techniques.
Regarding the first part of your comment, could you please specify which part of the lesson was left unclear for you?
