US Excel Vs Fr Excel

Hi, I have a format problem regarding the number. I have a French Excel version and the exemple in the course does not work in the French version. I can't change the region on Excel as it is a company laptop. For example, the custom format $#","###,,, "M" that should remove the last 6 digit of a number (e.g. 6 595500,000 becomes $6,595 M with this format) does not work at all on the French version. I got $6595,500,,,M I try to find on internet how to fix it and I have not found anything. It is not the only format problem regarding the courses examples I have. As someone a clue about it? Thanks
