What if I have work experience but is not related at all to data science, should I add it to my resume either way?

Great to hear from you! The decision to include a particular work experience on your resume really depends on the context. If the experience is brief and not directly relevant to the positions you're pursuing, you might consider leaving it off. However, to prevent any gaps in your resume, if the experience lasted six to eight months or more, I would recommend including it.
