wasn't the 3 components simply chosen as it is and identical to three of the seven attributes? Basically chosen out of the 7 with on a scale

thanks for reaching out! We chose the three components, because they gather 80% of the variance in the data, thus we're certain that the majority of the information in the data has been contained and can proceed with the three clusters.
