Adj close graph x axis issue

I have plotted the graph of Adj Close price as below.

As can be seen, the starting point on x-axis has shifted towards right. Is there a reason for that?
Also, is there a command to zoom into the graph. As of now, it is difficult to inspect. I am aware that we can chose a shorter timeframe and see the impact. However, is there an alternate way?

Hi Shreyash!

Thanks for reaching out.

Please accept my apologies for the delayed response.

1)  The way the information has been displayed only reflects the newer version of Matlpotlib.

  1. The zoom tool I imagine you are referring to is not really a feature of Jupyter. However, you can either change the figsize, or, better, run your code for only the segment you are interested to (i.e. for a shorter period of time - say from year 2008 to 2012, while using the same figsize arguments). Thus, you should be able to explore more.

Hope this helps.
Best,
Martin
