Resolved: Amazon's "Frequently Bought Together"

in Data Literacy / Association Rules

Is the famous "Frequently Bought Together" feature on Amazon when buying two common things people use to buy together an Association Rule as well, or would you classify it differently?

There are various ways to solve the question of "Frequently Bought Together", but association rules is definitely one of the most common and straightforward approaches. Inversely, "Frequently Bought Together" is indeed a classic business application of association rules.
