What are the examples of reverse Causality and Bidirectional Causality? how is a reverse causality possible?

Here a few examples:
1) A study might find that brown spots on the skin and sunbathing are correlated. While it is plausible that sunbathing can cause brown skin spots, it’s highly unlikely that the brown spots cause sunbathing. That is (unidirectional) causality
2) Another study may find that smoking and depression are correlated. It could be that smoking causes depression (causality), or it could be the other way around (reverse causality). However, there is a big chance that both cause each other (bidirectional causality)
