Resolved: Courses to become a data scientist
If I want to become a data science.
Do I need to learn all courses in courses library?
thanks for reaching out and great to have you in the 365 community!
To answer your question - in order to become a data scientist you don't necessarily have to complete the entire catalogue of courses. You can choose a few or several courses, which might be sufficient for your needs. It might depend on what area of data science you're interested in, and your already preexisting skills.
If you're new to data science I highly recommend starting with Intro to data and data science:
The course outlines the main roles and areas in data science and can be a great way to start getting into the data scientist mindset.
After that you can check out our career tracks page and enroll in one of three possible career oriented tracks:
Apart from a data scientist track, we have a data analyst and business analyst track available. Each of the tracks is geared towards giving you the necessary skills to become a data science professional a data analyst or a business analyst. In order to complete the track and earn a certificate, you'll need to pass the course exams for the required track courses and finally pass a career track examination. After that you'll get the career track certificate.
Of course, you're welcome to watch any course in the track, or in the program without completing the exams, they're required only if you wish to earn the certificate.
Do let us know if you have any further questions regarding the program or courses.
Thank you very much :D
So I can learn data scientist career track only, right?
But If I want to professional, I need to learn Data Analyst and Business Analyst ?
you can enroll in the data scientist career track only, yes. You can complete one or multiple career tracks, depending on your personal goals. So, a data scientist track would be a great way to start if you want to become a data scientist. If you then decide, you can follow another career track available in the program.
Hope this helps!
