Resolved: FINISHED half of data science track, but I think I should have started the data analyst track first?

the problem is I'm lost
I started data science track  and make a good process on it
but I think  I should have started the data analyst track first
because I think data visualization , data prepressing   and data cleaning in my work but data science track didn't provide them
should I start data analysis first?
to get solid knowledge or continue in my track and every thing will be clear in machine and deep learning?

Hi Yossef,
thanks for reaching out! If you feel like you need to start with the data analyst track first, you can do so by enrolling in it from the Career Tracks page. Your progress on the data science track will be kept and you'll be able to resume it at any point.
The content of the data analyst and data science tracks differs, as the former deals as you say with data analysis, including data visualization, data preprocessing and cleaning. The data science track focuses on the theoretical mathematical foundations in data science and the programming skills required to complete the machine learning and deep learning courses in the track. In that sense there is no direct link between the two tracks, that is to say data analysis skills are not necessarily a prerequisite for the courses in the data science track. However data analysis is a fundamental part of data science, so having these skills in your arsenal will certainly be beneficial.
So feel free to try the data analyst track and resume your studies in the data science track afterwards.

Best,
