why don't we add the sum function when doing the addition and subtraction calculations as was done while calculating for gross margin in percentage?

Hi Uchenna,
to calculate the gross profit margins, we must simply divide the gross profit over the revenue.
In the previous lectures we needed the sums, as our data contains monthly values, and we needed to sum them up to obtain the correct result.
