Install MYSQL

I have downloaded the latest version of Microsoft Visual from the link provided (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3179560/update-for-visual-c-2013-and-visual-c-redistributable-package). However, upon finish installing and restarting the computer, MySQL still doesn't recognize the existence of Microsoft Visual.

Hi Jessie! Thanks for reaching out! Can you please go to your Control Panel and check how many versions of Microsoft Visual Redistributable you have currently installed on your computer? You only need to have one, oftentimes if you have more, you can run into issues. If the version you currently have doesn't work, can you please retry with the following one (i.e. the one you can download from here): https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads (see the version of Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019). Please note that after you get to the point when you only have one Visual Studio Redistributable and when it is of the desired version, you need to reboot your computer and then try to run the installer. Hope this helps but please feel free to reply to this message should you need further assistance. Thank you. Best,
Martin
