Installing MySQL and getting acquainted with the interface

I downloaded at least four versions of MySQL installer and all of them don\'t have MySQL workbench on their application for me to connect, I don\'t know if am doing something wrong or if there is a way to get the workbench. Thank you.

Hi Lawal! Thanks for reaching out. There are several potential reasons for this problem.  Can you please confirm that you have never installed Workbench previously on this computer? Please check via Control Panel, Regedit (if you are using Windows), your security software and your drive to see if there are any traces of previous installations? Finally, can you please confirm you have currently only a single version of Visual C++ installed on your computer? Thank you. Looking forward to your answer.
Best,
Martin

There is no trace of the workbench previous installations and regarding the visual C++, I don't think I have any, The only thing I have related to visual on my PC is visual studio code. Thank you

Hi Lawal!
Thanks for your reply.
Please consult the following note explaining how to install Visual C++ Redistributable. Please install it (i.e. just a single version of this software) and retry installing MySQL. https://learn.365datascience.com/courses/sql/additional-note-installing-visual-c Hope this helps.
Best,
Martin
