.ipynb files

Hi,

I am working through the your Data Science course and think it's great.

I have now reached the sections which are more hands on with Python and Jupyter and have a problem I was hoping you could help me with.

I am trying to download the .ipynb files from the resources section but they will only save as .html. I have tried to run these in Jupyter and they don't work.

Is there a way to download these files as .ipynb or do I need to install some software that will allow for this? I am working on Windows if this makes any difference?

I am very eager to work through the exercises for the rest of the course.

Kind regards,

Gaz Collin

Hi Gaz! Thanks for the kind words and reaching out.
  1. Can you please change the extensions of the files manually? I.e. please change a filename.html to filename.ipynb.
  2. Can you please retry starting Jupyter in another browser, and upload the files from there?
  3. Finally, if you keep experiencing problems, please provide us with your email address (here or by sending a mail to martin@365datascience.com), and we'll look for an alternative way to send you the *.ipynb files.
Hope this helps.
Best,
Martin
