Largest to smallest

I can't remember exactly where I learnt this but it would've been early secondary/high school:
I was taught to sort the categories by percentage, highest to lowest, which would solve the order problem mentioned before (maybe that was during the intro).
This wasn't mentioned at all, as far as I'm aware: Is this something to recommend or does it not actually matter?

Hi Elise,
thanks for reaching out! Yes, you're absolutely right, you should arrange the categories in a pie chart from largest to smallest. It wouldn't exactly solve the problem, as we'd still be unable to make a distinction in the case of similar sized categories, but if you plan on making a pie chart, that's definitely how you should arrange the categories - from largest to smallest.

Best,
