ML application in retail parts bussines
Hello!!
My name is Pedro Alcázar and I work in a John Deere dealer in Bolivia.
I work as a data analyst and currently my job is more focused on inventory management.
The context is the following:
Currently we have 5 stores in the country and we manage arround 21.000 items.
Normally one of the stores receives the parts directly from the suppliers. We have information about inventory and sales from each store. Sometimes it's neccesary to balance stock between stores.
The problem I have is the following:
Hoy can I develop an ML algorithm in python to balance the inventory of each part maximizing the service (Fill Rate) of each store and minimizing transportations costs? considering it's possible to send parts for each store?
Please if you have any references or if it's possible to work in the project with someone, it would be very usseful for me

That said your question goes somewhat beyond the scope of our program and what we offer as support. I hope you can understand that we are a teaching platform and our primary aim is making sure students understand the concepts taught throughout the program. My advice to you would be to reach out to a colleague or a supervisor in your place of work and discuss possible approaches to solving the problem.

Thanks for your answer, I already did the ML course, and I loved it. But it doesn't cover that kind of logistics examples with restrictions.
Currently I dont have colleagues that know how to program and solve this problem, That's why I asked the questions.
