Resolved: Naive Bayes Exam
Hi Hristina,
From the Naive Bayes Exam, Question 2 where we were to calculate for the conditional probabilities, the respective probabilities for Chirps and Caws were 0.015 and 0.0024 respectively. Base on larger probability, the correct answer should be 0.015 as it is larger than 0.0024. Yet the answer chosen by the model was 0.0024 which i believe is not correct.
Please can you explain to me why 0.0024 was selected as the correct option?
Hey Olisa,
Thank you for reaching out!
Note that each of the answers consists of two parts:
1. stating how the post is classified (for example, "The post is classified as a caw...") and
2. stating one of the conditional probabilities (for example, "... with P(caw | disappointed, very, crazy) proportional to 0.0062")
Both parts of the sentence need to be correct for the whole answer to be considered correct. Please, read again the answers and the corresponding explanation.
Kind regards,
365 Hristina
All righty! Hristina.
Thanks for the explanation. I understand better now.
