Resolved: Quantification Clarification

Hello.

I wanted to ask about when you mention observations and quantifications.

I understand that monthly revenues or customers are examples of what rows could represent, but I am not sure about the quantifications. I noticed you represented 2 different types of quantities, the total revenue from new customers a particular month and the number of new customers present in a particular month, represented by different colours. In this way, does it mean these 2 quantities are numerical features of the given observations?

Hi Peace,

Yes, these two quantities are numerical features of the given observations. The rows represent observations, like monthly revenues or customer counts. Quantifications are the measurable metrics, such as the total revenue from new customers in a particular month and the number of new customers in that month. Using different colors helps to distinguish between these numerical features in visualizations.

Best,

Ned
