UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD EMPLOYEES DATABASE
I am struggling to download the employees database and unable to access on MYSQL thus at a stop still to progress with the course. Very frustrating and i would appreciate any support.
1. i have downloaded the employees database on my laptop
2. When i try and open this it is saved under Heidi SQL
3. So when i open this it opens into Heidi SQL workbench
4. All the information is there in the Heidi SQL programme but how am i supposed to save this and reopen it MYSQL please?
5. I thought i will try and copy and paste all the coding from HS to MYSQL but it takes forever to download and i get and error that it has stop responding :(
6. Very sad as i was in the flow of the course and now i am currently unable to move forward

You can download Workbench and upload the employees.sql file. Then, you have to run the file in order to create the database and its tables.

>> Clear all files from your temp and %temp% folders
>> you can access them from Windows key + r
>> type "temp" and click ok. Select all files and delete.
>> again press windows key + r >> type "%temp%", click ok, select all and delete
>> clear recycle bin
>> restart your pc and install a fresh version of 'MySQL Installer' from https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/
>> Better use the online dynamic installer (the 5.5 MB one)
>> ensure your versions for sql and workbench are same and latest i.e. 8.0.31
>> ensure the file you have downloaded is unzipped and the .sql version of employees is non-achieved
>> Once done, open MySql
>> Go to File>> opensql script and open the file you downloaded (the .sql one)
>> click on first Run button i.e. 'Execute the selection or everything'
>> It should work fine
