I tried to run this application on my macOs but it was not working. Is there another method I can get it working?

Hi Gbenga! Thanks for reaching out! You don't need Visual C++ if you are using a Mac, that's a tool relevant for Windows users.  Please stick to our advise to install MySQL through homebrew, we believe this is the best option currently out there. Hope this helps but please feel free to get back to us should you need further assistance. Thank you. Best,
