Vlookup & Columns vs. Index & Match
When filling out a table, why would someone prefer to use the Vlookup & Columns function over the Index & Match function?

The VLOOKUP function has certain limitations, but if a static column reference would do the job, if your dataset isn't large, and your criteria won't exceed 255 characters, you can use VLOOKUP instead of INDEX/MATCH.
VLOOKUP & COLUMNS is a combination that is applied in practice a lot so we wanted to make sure you can use it independently. Hence, we've included it in the syllabus.
