Resolved: whats the difference between master data and meta data

Hi
I didnt undrestand the difference between meta data and master data
could you please explain that for me?

Master data are data about the business entities (for example about customers, suppliers, employees, products, etc.). They provide context for business transactions. For customer master data would include information about the address, phone number, contact person, etc.

Metadata are data about data. So if you have a document (as a piece of data), then its metadata would include information such as the author, file size, the date the document was created, and keywords to describe the document, etc.

According to what i understand, Metadata are informations about a peice of the data itself.

to put it into simple terms, say you take a photograph on your mobile, the data of actual photo content is master data and meta data is information about the photo like, the name, the size of the photo, location of the photo, camera settings associated etc.
