Why so many card examples?!

I'm not sure why you use cards as an example in so many of your Statistics and Probability videos. The game is unfamiliar to many individuals. Are you saying that if I don't know anything about the game, I shouldn't come here to learn anything? Please fix the videos and use more true life examples to explain the concepts.

Hey Ramsey,

Thank you for reaching out!

Card examples are the most common ones used in probability - you will inevitably encounter them in other probability resources as well. The lessons don't make use of any particular card game, only the numbers and suits of the cards. So, think of this as an opportunity to learn the cards in a standard 52-card deck.

Kind regards,
