Calling fit on train data

in Machine Learning in Python / Linear Regression Practical Example (Part 4)

In Practical example 4. You do reg.predict(train_x) right after you do reg.fit(train_x, trainY). Is this correct? Should the predication not be on test_x? Won't this cause overfitting?

I agree with Rajeev. Are not the predictions supossed to be on the test set(?)  I am confused with this.
